This tea is an excellent example of premium red tea from Guangxi province. It is unique in so many aspects that overwhelmed me so much, that I needed time to set back and drink it myself, hiding it from my e-shop after getting back from Expedition in China in April 2024. First of all this tea comes from old 206 years old "gushu" tea tree from pristine nature of the great Shengtang 生堂山. Secondly this tea tastes unlike anything I experienced since 20 years of drinking tea. There is a very strong aroma of bourbon vanilla and roasted coffee in the first inhale, it is due to its final baking process in small baskets. This process is much different to baking of Wuyishan rock wulongs. When I first drink this tea it's taste push me deeper in the chair and make all of us tea friends feeling great. We have instantly recognized its great value. I would have describe it as a type of Shuixian / the Water fairy, but then it is different in its depth properties. It is worth exploring it if you are a tea connoiseur.
