A full-bodied dark oolong, twice roasted over charcoal, with a long and lingering aftertaste.
It is rare to find two cultivars blended together with such intention — but over the years I have come to realise that teas blended from Fenghuang mountain carry a particular charisma that is hard to define and impossible to ignore. Sometimes people simply call this kind of tea Da Hong Pao, and you drink it without being able to pinpoint exactly which cultivar is speaking to you most — you just know that something is working beautifully.
This time, I know exactly what is in the cup. Two cultivars, carefully chosen and roasted together over charcoal, resonating as one. This tea caught my heart the moment I tasted it — and it has stayed there ever since. It is one of my favourite dark oolongs, and I offer it here with full confidence.
