This black tea originates from the area surrounding the charming town of Sanjiang (三江), nestled in the north of Guangxi province. The tea is harvested in spring from medium-sized leaves and undergoes full oxidation, which is then completed and rounded off by a final baking step. It is this finishing touch that lends the tea its characteristic delicate chocolate note.
